Not too long you have to wait, the Star Wars: The Old Republic will officially meet us. Tomorrow is big event not only for EA but also for all SWTOR players. But this article will share you some information about the SWTOR’s early access.
I’ll admit, I’ve been sitting at my individual computer seeing my inbox for my SWTOR Early Access invite for just about any few days now, ever given that I somewhat belatedly preordered at the bleeding-edge date of … dec 13th. Obviously, I’m not expecting that I’ll get in immediately, but I was sort of questioning how this whole Early Access program worked.
Thankfully, BioWare has communicated a few much more details concerning the program, which has mollified me sufficient to get me targeted on other things, like crafting content articles about waiting to perform SWTOR.
At this point, everyone who has pre-ordered by “the beginning of October” has already been invited. Today, a brand name new wave of invites will hold care of everyone who pre-ordered through the end of November. Then, on Friday the 16th, there will probably be an additional wave of invites, with much more details to take place soon. This wave may nicely or may nicely not include me (I doubt it, but I knew I’d need to spend a price for my tardiness).
All this details is obtainable for the SWTOR forums, which is already so extremely trafficked that I had to queue to access it. To alleviate exactly the same overflow on their fixture servers, BioWare has been phasing them into operation — currently there are 106 servers up, with 64 in the US and 42 in Europe. Obviously, many much more will follow, but some queuing will probably be inevitable. Everything looks good so far, based on GamesIndustry.biz:
As of last night, three servers in the US were at ‘full’ capacity, 5 were classified as ‘very heavy’, 27 as ‘heavy’, 29 at ‘standard’ capacity, with none classified as ‘light’.
So far, it seems just as if BioWare’s rolling launch program has been successful at keeping loads manageable and queues to a minimum. if you are in already, hold a break from killing Jedi to consume a toast for the BioWare server admins. They deserve it.
Are you ready? As I know, my players have ready to farm swtor credits for real money. No matter what they do, we should look at the bright side that then we can buy SWTOR Credits at low price if we don’t have enough swtor credits.
